A HALLAM youth was stabbed in the shoulder during an altercation last Monday night.
Police said a group of youths was in a park near Gunns Road, Hallam at about 11.50pm when a dispute took place between a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old.
The 15-year-old produced a knife and stabbed the 17-year-old in the shoulder and wrist.
The injured teenager was taken to the Dandenong Hospital for treatment.
Police say all parties were known.
A dog squad unit was called to search the area but the attacker had fled.
