Fatal collision in Pakenham Upper

A female solo rider aged in her 50s has lost her life after the motorbike she was riding collided head-on with an SUV in Pakenham Upper on Saturday 10 February.

Police have been told the rider was travelling south along Pakenham Road when the incident occurred just before 2pm.

Police believed the rider veered onto the opposite side of the road where she clipped a utility before colliding head on with an SUV.

The woman died at the scene.

The male driver of the utility and the female driver of the SUV were not injured.
