GARFIELD GOLF

Garfield received a huge dump of rain Tuesday through Wednesday but the rest of the week was fine for golf, albeit played in very humid conditions.

Saturday was Medal day and attracted a huge field of 160 patrons, yet another field record for our progressive club.

Stephen Murray was the winner with a round of 75/net 66 by a one shot margin over Harry Matthews and the B Grade winner Liam Hill.

Four gentlemen had rounds of net 68; Steve Clark the C Grade winner, Ben Barrett the D Grade winner, Hayden Newnham and Brian Seers.
