A BERWICK hairdresser is cutting out a fine reputation in the salon industry.
Kirsty Fisher took out first place at the GippsTAFE Hairdressing Apprentice Competitions Style Blow category.
Ms Fisher was up against more than 20 other apprentices from across the Victoria’s south east.
The competition is an annual event and this was Ms Fisher’s second time competing.
Ms Fisher, a Cranbourne resident who works at SB Hair Health Beauty, said she loved competitive hairdressing “as it gives you a chance to be creative and push yourself”.
Fellow hairdresser Nikki Simmons also took part in the event, while Sharlene De Saram featured as Ms Fisher’s hair model.
Ms Fisher’s award will sit alongside the many other honours achieved by hairdressers at SB Hair Health Beauty.
