Fun-filled event

To celebrate Children’s Week 2023 Living & Learning Pakenham Inc (LLP) hosted a free, fun and educational morning for children and their families on Tuesday 24 October.

The theme this year was “Children have the right to relax, play and to take part in activities they enjoy” and so keeping with the theme, it was a fun-filled event with a farmyard animal nursery along with a range of activities provided by Cardinia Shire Council, McKillops Family Services with the support of the State Government.

The event was opened by Pakenham MP Emma Vulin who welcomed families from over 38 nationalities, many of whom attend programs at Living Learning Pakenham.

A delicious lunch was also kindly donated by Gurdwara Siri Guru Nanak Darbar Officer and thoroughly enjoyed by all the families attending.

It was Learning Learning Pakenham first Children’s Week event and a resounding success with a community led partnership making a positive impact on the lives of many children and their families.
