Multiple calls to Triple-Zero had emergency services rushing to the scene of a house fire in Cranbourne on Wednesday 8 February.

Fire Rescue Victoria crews, supported by units from Narre Warren and Hampton Park Fire Brigades arrived at the scene on Jillian Court, Cranbourne about midday on Wednesday, to find a single storey brick house “fully involved in fire”.

Wearing breathing apparatus (BA) firefighters worked make the scene safe and extinguish the flames bringing the incident under control in 24 minutes, a Fire Rescue Victoria spokesperson said.

The fire has been deemed not suspicious, with a fridge, located on the back veranda of the property, understood to have caused the blaze.

Several occupants of the building were assessed by paramedics at the scene, with one individual taken to Casey Hospital in a stable condition.
