Man hospitalised following Pakenham explosion

A man has been taken to hospital following an explosion at a property in Pakenham.

Fire Rescue Victoria responded to a fire in Pakenham following a call to Triple Zero (000) just after 5pm on Saturday 15 October.

Firefighters arrived at the Bluegrass Crescent scene to find an explosion had occurred from a small fire on a property.

Firefighters worked quickly to make the scene safe with the incident declared under control at 5.16pm.

Ambulance Victoria said a man was treated for upper body injuries and taken to The Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.
