Pakenham police nab P-plater

A Pakenham P-plater had his licence suspended for 12 months after police found him under the influence of alcohol and driving at an extremely low speed on Cardinia Road.

The 20-year-old man undertook a breath test which showed a blood alcohol concentration reading of 0.128.

P-platers are required to have a blood alcohol concentration of 0 when driving.

The Toyota Sedan was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1390.

Almost as if it were a bad dream, police said the P-plater later went to the Pakenham police station to report his car was stolen.

The man will receive a summons to appear at the Magistrates Court for drink driving and failing to display p-plates.
