A wheelie bad idea

On Sunday 28 August at approximately 2.30pm, it is alleged a 38-year-old Narre Warren man performed a wheelie on his motorcycle past the Pakenham Police Station as Cardinia Highway Patrol were leaving the complex.

The male was intercepted in Officer, and his motorcycle was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1280 for improper use of a motor vehicle.

The male will now front the Magistrates Court .

Police said it was an important reminder to ride safely with the weather warming up.

“There is zero tolerance for dangerous driving or riding on our roads,” police said.
