Antique lovers are looking forward to the return of Pakenham’s 17th Annual Antique and Collectables Fair, following years of Covid-19 disruptions.

This year’s fair will showcase a wide selection of antiques and collectables and will raise funds for Riding for the Disabled Doveton and the Myuna Farm Centre.

Melbourne-based antique valuer David Freeman will be in attendance from 1pm to value items at $5 per item, excluding stamps, coins and jewellery.

Guests have been asked to bring a photo of larger items that they would like valued.

Event organiser Coosje Dubach said she was excited to welcome a great crowd to the 2022 fair.

“We had to cancel it two years in a row so the last event was held in 2019,” she said.

“It’s been running for 17 years and stallholders have told me they have missed seeing each other.

“There will be quite a big variety of stallholders with different goods of collectables, figurines, china, coins and jewellery.

“We have one stallholder coming from NSW, with many from across Victoria, as well as locals.”

There will be about 40 stalls set up at the Cardinia Cultural Centre.

An admission fee of $5 per person will apply. Children can attend for free.

The fair will be held on Saturday 30 July from 9am to 3.30pm.
