A Pakenham property is one of the areas most expensive homes after selling for more than $3 million.

The sprawling six bedroom, three bathroom home covers two hectares of land on 230 Army Road Pakenham.

Described as “luxury country living”, ‘Willou’ is an architect-designed home featuring a home theatre, walk in robes, butler’s pantry and a wide 2.4 metre full return veranda.

Separate from the main home is the Tavern’ – a timber bar with a kitchenette and wood-fire pizza oven.

The property also features a 2×9 metre garage and workshop as well as a 12×3 metre machinery shed.

The property sold on 16 May.

Monthly repayments for the home is estimated to be about $9739 per month.

The property previously sold for $505,000 back in 2009.
