NOMINATIONS for Cardinia Shire’s Australia Day awards are now open.
Mayor Kate Lempriere is urging community groups, sports clubs, township committees and the general public to nominate residents for the prestigious awards.
Categories this year include Citizen of the Year, Senior Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year and Community Event of the Year.
Nominations for the awards close on Friday 16 November.
