Police have caught an unlicensed motorbike rider who was allegedly driving while under the influence of drugs.
Cardinia Highway Patrol were conducting patrols on Sunday 13 February on Princes Highway Pakenham when they observed a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle riding through a car park, they said.
The motorcycle was intercepted and police spoke to a 26-year-old Pakenham man.
Checks revealed the male had never held a motorcycle licence. The male underwent a roadside oral fluid test returning a positive result to methylamphetamine.
The motorcycle was subsequently impounded at a cost of $1280 for the next 30 days.
The rider will receive a summons to attend court.
