A PAKENHAM water sport club is offering up the chance to learn how to sail.
Residents are invited to come down to Lakeside on Sunday 8 November to dip their toes in the lake and experience the fun of sailing.
Lakeside Sailing Club is organising the free event expected to kick off from 10.30am at the launch ramp in Cormorant Parade.
Discover Sailing program manager Gavin Wall said the state-wide annual event drew a large crowd last year.
“Last year saw more than 4000 people visit some of Victoria’s many sailing clubs, engage in a free sailing experience and enjoy the many benefits our clubs have to offer,” he said.
All boats and safety equipment will be provided by the club.
