PAKENHAM United has built a five-point lead atop FFV Metropolitan 2 South East after a 3-0 forfeit win over Carey EFC.
The Cougars men had the weekend off against Carey EFC after they forfeited on Friday, adding another three goals and another three points to the Pakenham United effort this season.
The Cougars’ unbeaten streak has pushed out to nine games and a whopping plus 26-goal difference to mark a hyper successful start to the season.
Pakenham United travel to face Pines this week before the mid-season break.
Pakenham’s seconds claimed a 1-0 win over Monash University SC Caulfield.
Bunyip Strikers’ seniors flogged St Kevins’ Old Boys 5-0 on the back braces from Michael Kidgell and Jody Cooper while the seconds were knocked off 0-3 by South Yarra. Bunyip Strikers host Old Scotch SC Golds this Sunday from 3pm.
