POLICE have arrested two teens accused of stealing a car and fraudulently using a stolen credit card in Pakenham in recent weeks.
A 16-year-old Frankston girl and 19-year-old Frankston man were arrested in relation to a string of offences including theft of a motor car, theft from a motor vehicle and deception.
Police believe a wallet with credit cards was stolen from a car parked in Howey Road in Pakenham in the early hours of the morning on Wednesday 17 June.
It was alleged the cards were used to buy food about 4.30am that morning by the male offender who drove through a Pakenham fast food outlet on the Princes Highway in the stolen Ford Falcon, registration SUP 950.
Police, who released CCTV footage of one of the offenders early in the investigation, alleged the driver then pulled up at the service station next door and a female passenger used the stolen cards to buy more items.
The teens have both been remanded in custody to appear in court at a later date.
