NARRE Warren State Emergency Service members were called into action several times over the holiday period.
While many people were enjoying their Christmas Day, SES members were responding to several calls requesting help.
Narre Warren SES media officer Kanny Lee said they were first called out at 10am.
“Narre Warren State Emergency Service was called out to flooding due to hail stones backlogged in guttering. Most of the jobs were related to the inclement weather with roof tiles missing and some flooding,” Ms Lee said.
Crews also attended a Doveton property last Saturday to remove a fallen tree from a house.
Ms Lee said six members attended the job and removed the trunk and limbs from the roof.
“There were about 25 dislodged tiles, some of which were cracked,” she said.
“The tiles were put back in alignment and held down by sand bags and the cracked tiles replaced with spare tiles the owner had.”
