DOVETON residents honoured their finest and celebrated Christmas during a fun-filled night at Myuna Farm on Sunday.
More than 400 people attended the Christmas Carols and enjoyed the open spaces and festive atmosphere of the annual event.
The crowd was entertained by several performances throughout the night, including the Doveton Secondary College band, the Holy Family Choir and Brothers in Christ Choir.
Another major highlight was the presentation of prestigious awards to two Doveton-Eumemmerring citizens.
Les Boyes won Resident of the Year and Doveton Secondary College year eight student Jessica Bidwell was named Young Resident of the Year.
Mr Boyes received a hamper and Jessica won a $50 voucher for the achievement.
Event organiser and Doveton Baptist Church Pastor Grant Ludlow was thrilled with the night and delighted the crowd was so well entertained.
Doveton and Eumemmerring Neighbourhood Renewal officials also helped out on the evening and provided children with glow sticks and Santa hats.
