The match-up that matters

THERE’s a whisper going around that the Pakenham Football Club is trying to gain a permit to allow a game of two-up to take place at Toomuc Reserve on Saturday night.
If so, Lions’ skipper Dean Blake knows precisely who will be the key protagonists.
“I’m sure Dick and Stan (Young) will have something going on and the big fella (full-forward Daniel) Fry might have a game going in the goal square at some stage during the match.”
The Lions won’t know until later in the week if their quest for the permit has been successful.
