Support in the saddle

Pakenham Produce and Saddlery staff love this time of year because, as well as being able to get involved with all the local shows and events happening in the community, they will be attending the Pakenham Show once again.
“In our 42 year history, we have supported the show every year in some way and this year is no different,” said owner and operator Peter van Diemen.
Horticulture specialists Bree Ure said: “We will be part of the Wally Wombat Trial and also sponsoring the animal petting zoo.
“Our focus for the Wally Wombat Trial is about getting kids out into the garden.
“We have gloves, seeds and a pot for them to grow their seeds in and are holding a competition for kids to enter to show off their growing beauties after the show.
“We figure kids always love getting dirty so we’ll give them a reason to!” she said.
Mr van Diemen added: “Look for us at the show, we’ll have some great show specials for your pets and animals, plus check out our range for people, too.
“Remember, if you have any questions about your pets or your garden Jess and Bree can answer them for you on the day or drop in to see our friendly staff at the shop any time.
“See you at show.“
