SCHOOL’S out forever for the year 12 students at Eumemmerring College.
The path will now change for many of the students who have spent the last six years together at the Hallam campus and university, apprenticeships, TAFE and the workforce will all now provide different options.
But that was far from the minds of the students as they dressed up in their funkiest 80s style clothes and took part in the action packed day.
It started with a pancake breakfast cooked by the year 11 students and continued with a range of activities including sumo wrestling, jumping castles, a human fly-trap and a disco dance.
Eumemmerring Pathways counsellor Linda Rackham said the highlight of the day was the student-teacher flour fight.
“The final session was a prepared-organised ‘slime time’ where flour, shaving cream and water bombs were supplied and students and teachers were able to express themselves as a final farewell,” Ms Rackham.
