PAKENHAM AUTO CLUB

PAC members and friends met at The Pine Grove Hotel, Upper Beaconsfield for the annual 2014 presentation dinner.
Trophies were presented to October, November and December event winners, David Isherwood, Rob Sanderson, Nick Wright, Mitchell Isbel, Shane Walters, Phil Torode, Tim McGill, Adam Bloomfield, Jacob Smith, Ray Garrad, Ian Williams and Mitch Garrad.
Brett Isbel and Rob Sanderson also received CAMS Officials’ Licences.
Forty-seven certificates were presented by PAC life member Nick Wright to Junior Development Driver Training participants who had successfully completed the course.
PAC Life Member John Hill presented 10-year-service awards to Sue McCready and Cameron Burton, and 30-year-service awards to Glad Fish and Nick Wright in acknowledgement of their years of active membership with the Pakenham Auto Club.
PAC life member John Carney also presented the perpetual awards to; Ian Williams – Motorkhana Champion, Rob Sanderson – Khanacross Champion, Angela Bloomfield – Speed Champion and Glad Fish – Activity Award.
The hero for the year was 16-year-old Mitch Garrad who took out Junior Motorkhana Champion, Rally Champion and 2014 PAC Competition Champion. Mrs Joy Rawson presented the prestigious Keith Rawson Memorial Award – in memory of her husband – to the most outstanding Junior club member, also Mitch Garrad.
The next events at the McGregor Road Complex will be Junior Development Driver Training on Saturday 31 January, and the Multi-club Motorkhana on Sunday 1 February.
