Creating a strong foundation

A NEW Friends of the Foundation group will help the Cardinia Foundation build better partnerships with local businesses.
The group will be launched this Friday, 4 May, at the Cardinia Cultural Centre in Pakenham.
The foundation supports charities within the Casey-Cardinia region.
Executive officer John White said Cardinia communities were growing fast. New families were moving in every day and choosing to build their life in the shire.
“That is why the future of the Cardinia Foundation is so important,” he said.
“Improving our communities is the foundation’s business and together with local business we are looking to increase the support to local people.”
Mr White said the friends group was a great opportunity to give back to the communities who helped to grow business.
“The foundation has had wonderful support from business and we hope to consolidate our links across the whole shire,” he said.
Mr White said there were many levels of support, all of which provided heaps of recognition including media advertising, networking opportunities, seats at the annual charity dinner and even a link on the foundation’s new website.
