Take care on and off the road: Police

POLICE are encouraging motorists to be careful when driving on private property as well as public roads following the rollover of a four-wheeled go-cart on a property at Menzies Creek.
An 18-year-old man from Rowville received serious injuries in the crash, which occurred on Sunday at 5.25pm, and was taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital for treatment.
A 39-year-old male from Cranbourne also received minor injuries in the crash.
Officer in charge of Cardinia Traffic Management Unit Sergeant Peter Garton said drivers needed to remember such vehicles did not have the same safety features as those licensed for the road.
In a separate incident, a motorcycle ridden by a 30-year-old Oakleigh South man and a Ford station wagon collided on Gembrook-Launching Place Road in Gembrook.
The crash occurred at 1.20pm on Saturday.
The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to Dandenong Hospital for treatment.
A family of five from Scoresby, travelling north in the Ford station wagon, was not hurt.
