ON Friday 28 February, 17 students from Lakeside Lutheran College did their school proud at the Official District Swimming Championships at Doveton Pool in the Park.
Students from grade three to six competed and produced some outstanding results on the day.
Four students who placed first or second in their events will go on to compete at regional level.
Kaitlyn Fitzgerald was proud of her first place in the girls’ 50 metre freestyle and 50 metre breaststroke, while Charlotte also in grade four did well placing third in the 50 metre girls’ freestyle.
