TUESDAY saw Narre Warren Bowls Club play its penultimate winter indoor bowls competition with the winners A. McKenzie, I. Carr, J. Morrow and N. Adcock(s).
Last Tuesday was the final day for winter indoor bowls.
Summer bowls is scheduled to begin on Monday, 11 September at 1pm. All bowlers are welcome, and are asked to note the new date and time.
New faces appearing on the club honour board are Judith Naughton as the ladies singles winner and John Morrow as the men’s singles winner, with the mixed pairs winners between J. Naughton, J. Morrow and D. Farrel, J. Hickman yet to be decided.
Congratulations for the first time for both.
The new outdoor 2006-07 season begins this Saturday at 10pm in whites, with the official opening followed by social bowls and afternoon tea.
