Australia is a great country in many respects. But the City of Casey, on the other hand, resembles a Third World country.
Its administration is not up to the mark, one may even say that it is becoming worse than a Third World country city.
There’s too much bureaucracy and bad use of ratepayers’ money.
On 6 November, I rang council and reported a large quantity of litter that some irresponsible, selfish people had dropped along Heatherton Road between The Green and Grove End and also between Grove End and Matthew Flinders.
On 12, 20, 22 and 27 November I rang council again and again. Each time I spoke to a different person.
On 22 November I was told that the contractor would need another two weeks.
On 28 November, those black garbage bags were still there, maybe full of rotten chicken, fish bones and even a dead animal.
One would wonder whether Casey Council cares for the protection of the environment and the health of local residents.
