POLICE have warned drivers not to leave valuables in their car, in the wake of six thefts from motor vehicles in Berwick.
Thieves forced their way into six cars parked in Edrington Park Drive, Grantham Crescent and Melville Park Drive, Berwick, between 6pm on Wednesday 31 July and 7am on 4 August.
They smashed the windows to gain entry and stole valuable items such as wallets and computers.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the thefts to come forward, and are urging drivers not to leave valuables in their cars.
