Fit and confident

By BRIDGET SCOTT

BUSINESS owners are teaming up to bring teenagers a confidence boosting workshop later this month.
Leanne Sklavenitis from Fitness Tips, a recently published author, will be among those speaking on the day.
The fitness expert has teamed up with other leaders in their field to present to teenagers a workshop on how to keep healthy, maintain good hygiene, and develop an effective way of combating stress.
Leanne will give the teenagers tips on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and the type of exercise regime they need and the foods they should consume to keep energy throughout the day.
The workshop will be fun and interactive and will involve splitting into small groups so everyone who attends has their questions answered.
There is a free goodie bag for all participants containing discounts, information and product samples.
Speakers on the day are confident the workshop will sell out quickly, with only 18 spots available, and seats already sold.
Cost is $50 to cover products on the day.
The workshop will be at X-Per-Tease Hair Studio, Shop 1175a Fountain Gate Shopping Centre, Narre Warren, on Sunday 16 June.
