A MAN who went for a short walk last week came back to find his house had been broken into, the burglar making off with alcohol, cash, jewellery and runners.
The house on Princes Highway in Pakenham was broken into between 8.45am and 9.30am.
When the man came back from his walk he discovered the burglar had forced entry into the house through the back door.
