New store new jobs

ABOUT 90 new jobs were created with the opening of a new market-style Coles in Hallam yesterday (Wednesday).
The new store promises to feature the best in fresh food produce with in-store bakers, butchers, self-serve delicatessen and an exciting range of both locally-produced and international food.
Coles State General Manager Mark O’Connor said the new store would employ 90 team members – 70 who are new to Coles and 20 who have come from nearby stores.”
Coles Hallam Store Manager Robert Valente said he was looking forward to welcoming local shoppers from the Hallam area.
To celebrate the launch of the store, Coles Hallam has embarked on sponsorship of the Hallam Hawks Football Club, and will participate in this year’s Coles Sports for Schools program.
Opening day activities included an appearance by the Fox FM Street Team, a free barbecue, Coles gift-card giveaways and other prizes.
Coles Hallam is located at Spring Square on Princes Domain Drive, Hallam and the store is open 6am to 12 midnight, seven days a week.
