STUDENTS from Pakenham Springs Primary School pounded the pavement recently for the Adidas School Fun-Run and raised $12,000 for their school.
On 28 March, the school held the fun run and raised the money from family, friends and the wider community.
Thanks to their enthusiasm and the local support extra funds are now available to buy new resources for the school.
Organiser Lenis Quigg is proud of the way the students rallied behind the fund-raiser.
“It was great to see so many students supporting their school by collecting sponsorship and participating on the day,” Lenis said.
