Netballers on the improve

THE weekend matches against Narre Warren were positive despite the three senior teams going down. The junior teams flew the flag for the club, scoring two good victories on a damp court with a dark sky.

Devon Meadows played a good game and should be proud. Narre Warren was too strong in the end but the players were looking forward to this week’s challenge against Pakenham.

Devon Meadows played its best game so far this year, getting within three goals in the third quarter. It was the result of great teamwork by all.

Devon Meadows did well with only five team members fit and healthy.

Devon Meadows played another solid game and came away with a strong win. With only five under-15s on the court, several players from the under-13s stepped in to help out and played great games.
Best on court was Tiffany Findlay for strong centre court play and keeping her head up despite a fall.
