POLICE have appealed for public help after a car was set on fire in Hallam last Thursday.
The white Holden Commodore utility was set ablaze between 1am and 7.50am when parked on the nature strip of an Arcadia Avenue home.
Detective Senior Sergeant Ian Wilcox said the tarp of the utility had been burnt and the paintwork on the left side of the car had been badly damaged.
He said the estimated repair bill was $5000.
