The City of Casey Australia Day study tour was presented to participating year 11 students at last Thursday’s Australia Day ceremony at Casey’s council chambers.
The tour gives students the opportunity to observe how federal, state and local governments operate. The tour is conducted over five days and features a threeday visit to Canberra, where students meet federal Members of Parliament, tour Parliament House, attend Question Time, and possibly meet the Prime Minister.
