Faith ‘transforms lives’

MANY community leaders in Casey believe that faith in Jesus Christ can be a life-transforming thing and consider that there is a growing interest in a personal relationship with God, says Crossway South Community Church pastor, Lee Kohler.
Former Casey mayor Neil Lucas, speaking at a Crossway South church service, said that “Casey municipality has more new churches starting annually than any other municipality in Australia”.
Winner of the Casey citizen of the year in 2005 was Eric Wieckmann. His C.H.I.P.S. organisation has brought hope to children and families who have suffered grief and loss.
“Captain Eric believes that at the heart of his work is giving children the option of putting their young faith in Jesus and so discovering a relationship with God,” said Pastor Kohler.
Atik Wickes, the Casey Idol winner will perform at Crossway South Christmas Celebration. It’s going to be a fantastic family service with your favorite carols, gifts for everyone, drama presentation, Christmas message and free plum puddings and custard for all after the service. Creche is provided and an exciting program for primary school age and under. You can sit back and enjoy the Christmas celebration while your kids enjoy their program. Don’t miss this fun-packed event!
Crossway South Community Church will be held on Sunday, 11 December from 10:30-12:30 at Cranbourne Community Theatre Brunt St., Cranbourne.
For further inquiries call Pastor Lee Kohler at the Crossway office on 9886 3700.
