HILLCREST Christian College officially opened its middle school last week but more developments are on the way.
More than 100 people attended the unveiling at the Clyde North school and college principal Daniel Pampuch said the project represented a significant development in the college’s history.
“It will be the foundation for what will become known as our middle school precinct.
“To accompany these structures the college has also embarked on the development of all middle school programs and the redesign is in keeping with the latest developments,” he said.
Mr Pampuch said the school had also forged a special links program with their Year 4 and Year 9 students and the middle school.
He added that the new education precinct would continue to grow.
Reverend Robert Carner from the Presbyterian Church of Victoria read an opening prayer, Year 5 percussionists Stomp performed and Year 7 student Adrian Miller performed a rendition of Lean on Me as part of the official unveiling.
