The school is encouraging students and their families to share their experiences and memories over the past decade.
School Council president Craig Rooney and Oatlands’ first enrolled student Hayley Anderson will speak about their memories of the school.
Art craft teachers Dianne Cappadona and Helen Connell and students have produced seven large canvases depicting the life and times of the school as part of the celebrations to be displayed in their biannual art show.
The theme of this year’s show is “The Magnificent Masters” with students creating works based on the styles of great artists, including Van Gough, Piet Mondrian, Andy Warhol and Henri Matisse.
During the day the school’s 120voice choir will also perform and there will be a flora display from renowned florist Euan McKenzie along with performances from the grade six dance group. The canvases will be hung in the school as a permanent reminder for future generations to enjoy.
