DESPITE the best efforts of Cranbourne Meadows all-rounder Brent Murdoch, Nar Nar Goon/Maryknoll was too good for the visitors, winning the first game of the West Gippsland Cricket Association Sub-District season by 14 runs.
Murdoch finished with 39 runs and three wickets and Lee Murdoch chipped in with 27, but the pair was left relatively unsupported as Cranbourne failed to track down NNG/Maryknoll’s score of 110.
