Aussie ballads and opera among the lavender

THE first day of the new year will see the event Light Opera in the Lavender held at Serendipity Lavender Farm, Nar Nar Goon North.
The event will feature music and songs from favourite musicals, Australian ballads and performances from a host of talented artists from 5pm until 9pm.
Pack a hamper and enjoy a magnificent evening among the lavender and watch the sunset while listening to performers including Austin Moore, Margaret Waldon, Lindo O’Brien, Jennifer Schatzle and Warwick Cohen.
Gourmet picnic hampers are available on request, costing $18 per head or $28 for two.
Entry cost is $25 per person or $8 for children under 14.
