Driver sends rider to hospital

By Lia Bichel
About 6.45pm, two motorcycles were travelling near Tyabb-Tooradin Road and intersection near South Boundary Road East.
Senior Constable Luke Anderton from Casey Highway Patrol said the driver of a car towing a trailer was making a right turn into South Boundary Road east, but changed his mind and drove back into the left lane, cutting off one motorcyclist.
Sen Const Anderton said the second motorcyclist, a 36-year-old woman, had to take action to avoid a collision and flipped the motorbike.
She was taken to the Frankston Hospital with multiple fractures and a dislocated shoulder.
Sen Const Anderton said they were looking for the driver of the car which was believed to be a dark coloured 2001 Statesman which was towing a yellow trailer.
The driver is described as being an elderly man who was possibly travelling with his wife in the passenger seat.
Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Senior Constable Luke Anderton on 5991 0600.
