Adding life to Kids’ Day Out

THE Pakenham Kids’ Day Out is going to have more rides, kids and family fun than ever.
Last year, more than 5000 people enjoyed valuable time with their families, soaked up the sun, played on the rides or watched the races at the event held at the Pakenham Racecourse.
Scheduled for Sunday, 22 January, the Pakenham Racing Club is already working with businesses and community groups.
“Kids’ Day Out has now established itself as a key community event providing the Pakenham Racing Club a great opportunity to link with the local community,” said club spokesman Don Duffy.
“It enables families to enjoy a great day out while experiencing country racing at its best.”
This year, the Kids’ Day Out has been sponsored by Star News Group and will showcase Cardinia’s new recreation and aquatic centre, Cardinia LiFE.
To celebrate the opening of the centre, the News will be giving away family memberships to lucky patrons on the day.
There will also be heaps of information on the services of Cardinia LiFE.
