MOROCCO was this year’s country of study for the Country Women’s Association of Victoria and the ladies enjoyed a delicious Moroccan luncheon last Wednesday.
The Pakenham branch hosted members of the seven other branches in the West Gippsland group at the Girls Guide Hall, which was decorated with colourful cushions, brocade material and lanterns, supplied by Kasbah Moroccan Imports in Brighton East.
Life member Margaret MacKay spoke about her holiday to Morocco and showed a DVD of photographs of she and her husband John took on their trip. The association would like to thank all those who went to the sausage sizzle at Bunnings on Sunday 28 August and invites everyone to head to Coles Plaza on Friday 16 September for their cake and goods stall.
