BERWICK students will walk for 12 hours next week to raise money for sick children.
Following on from last year’s successful 12-hour ‘swim-a-thon’, boys in Years 10 to 12 from Haileybury’s Berwick campus will take on another 12-hour challenge as part of the school’s Community Responsibility Program dedicated to helping charities.
Money raised will go towards the Children’s Cancer Centre based at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Head of Sholto Black House and event organiser Jeremy Rowe said they hoped to raise more than $5000 for the cause.
The event will be held from 7am until 7pm at the Haileybury, Berwick.
