MEMBERS of the Hallam Red Cross unit gathered at the community centre on Monday to celebrate its 32nd birthday.
Guest speaker Pamela Haigh spoke about training guide dogs and about life with her guide dog Willoughby.
Member Elizabeth Russell received a 10-year service medal and had the honour of cutting the birthday cake.
The Hallam Red Cross members meet every third Monday at 10.30am at the Community Centre, 56 Kays Avenue, Hallam. New members are always welcome. For details contact Betty on 9774 0194.
