Young champs give their best

ATHLETES from Narre Warren competed in the first week of the Dandenong Little Athletics Club championships, with many achieving standards and personal bests and winning medals and ribbons on Saturday.
Joshua Booker, Chris and Maddi Fenton and Nathan Kirk will contest the VLAA State Track and Field Championships at Olympic Park this weekend.
Athletes will return to the Dandenong centre for the final week of championships on 26 March and parents are urged to sign in by 8.30am for duty responsibilities to ensure a prompt 8.45am start.
Training is between 5pm and 6pm on Thursdays at Max Pawsey Reserve, Fountain Drive, Narre Warren.
The Narre Warren annual meeting, presentation night and barbecue is at 5.30pm on Friday 1 April, at Max Pawsey Reserve.
