IT’S official – Sub-District Cricket Association side Endeavour Hills won’t have played a single game in their whites this season.
The Hills were meant to begin a two-dayer against Broadmeadows, their first for the season, but a soaked Sydney Pargeter Reserve prevented play from going ahead, reducing the match to a one-dayer next week.
With the final round scheduled for one day, last Saturday’s washout means the Hills will have played the entire season in their “pyjamas”, as coach John Hayes put it.
“That means the last time we played a two-dayer was last season,” Hayes said.
