Welch to share wealth of experience

By Nicole Williams
LOCAL artists and art lovers are invited to the Casey Annual Arts Gathering next month.
The free event is open to the public and will feature guest speaker Dr Jonathon Welch AM, the founding music director of the Choir of Hope and Inspiration.
“The Casey Annual Arts Gathering provides a fantastic opportunity for local artists to hear an accomplished artist talk about their amazing experiences,” City of Casey mayor Shar Balmes said.
It will include information about opportunities and support for the local arts community, a presentation and a chance to mingle and network.
“This event provides a great chance to meet with other artists from Casey’s vibrant arts community, discuss ideas and be inspired!” City of Casey manager of community strengthening Janette Green said.
The Casey Annual Arts Gathering will be held on Thursday 10 February at Rosanove Auditorium, St Margaret’s School, Berwick, from 7pm.
Places are limited, so bookings are essential. There is a limit of two tickets per person.
For more information or to book, call the City of Casey on 9705 5200.
