The highly experienced Jeff Beable from Lysterfield, Berwick car dealer Scott Manson and Berwick fatherson duo Ernie and Andrew Fuller will be riding the bumps and rounding the bends in the rally.
The Fullers, the defending champions, are aiming for backtoback success.
The family has plenty of motorsport experience, including competing in Targa Tasmania, the Grand Prix Rally, the Porsche Mt Buller Sprint and circuit racing.
“We beat Martin (Notaras) and Simon (Arthur) last year so I think we could do it again,” Ernie Fuller said.
“There are a lot of witch hats in the Dutton road tests and we’re both very good at dodging those.
“But we know the competition is stiff and we would include other tarmac rally regulars such as Jeff Beaumont, Peter Gazzard and Doug Lehmann as major rivals as well as the guys from further north.
“It should be a great weekend.”
Competing alongside the Fullers this year will be V8 Supercar regulars Steve Richards, Warren Luff and Dean Canto. Also joining the field is television personality Glenn Ridge, but even against such starstudded lineup, the Fullers are cautiously confident they can win again.
