THE 50th Hampton Park Central Community Festival saw children enjoy a free animal farm, a free jumping castle, and an exciting visit from Santa who gave out Bertie Beetle showbags.
Children also had a chance to get their faces painted and try their hand at rock climbing. There was live entertainment in the hall all day, provided by the Vocal Performance School in Narre Warren.
Hampton Park Networking Group president Vanassa Gerdes said the festival was slightly hampered by the hot weather, but that overall it was an enjoyable day.
“The kids had a great day out, which was the main thing,” Ms Gerdes said. The festival was run by the Hampton Park Networking Group in partnership with the Hampton Park Community House, which had an art show on at the same time.
Great day of festive fun
